Overview

Friendship Public Charter School operates a network of college-preparatory public charter schools, serving students from preschool through 12th grade. Our mission is to provide a world-class education that equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary for academic achievement and success beyond high school.

 

The HIT Program Manager will provide centralized oversight and coordination of all HighImpact Tutoring (HIT) programs across Friendship campuses. The contractor will be responsible for monitoring fidelity of implementation, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance, and supporting program leads in delivering high-quality services.

Responsibilities

Program Oversight & Monitoring

Conduct monthly in-person observations of HIT programs at each Friendship campus to assess the quality of delivery, student engagement, and program fidelity.
Monitor attendance tracking and dosage records to ensure data accuracy and alignment with program requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly attendance reports for all Friendship-led HIT programs; prepare reports for submission to OSSE and CitySchool Collaborative
Review program dosage and attendance trends; flag potential risks (e.g., under-dosage) and work with HIT Leads to resolve issues.

 

Collaboration with HIT Leads and HIT Contractors

Meet monthly with each HIT Lead and HIT Contractor to review:
o Student attendance records
o Dosage levels and completion rates
o Progress toward curriculum completion
Provide technical assistance and feedback to HIT Leads to ensure consistent program delivery across campuses.

 

External Engagement & Compliance

Represent Friendship during site visits and observations by OSSE, CitySchoolCollaborative, or other external evaluators.
Ensure programs are meeting grant/funding requirements, compliance expectations, and aligned to Friendship’s internal standards.
Document and communicate follow-up actions from external visits to ensure continuous improvement.

 

Data, Reporting, & Communication

Maintain centralized HIT program data dashboard (attendance, dosage, curriculum completion, observations).
Prepare and submit a monthly program status report summarizing observations, attendance trends, dosage compliance, and recommendations.
Provide leadership with early alerts on any compliance risks or program gaps.
Support the preparation of year-end or cumulative reports on HIT program outcomes.

 

Additional Duties

Participate in bi-weekly check-ins with Friendship leadership to align on priorities and share updates.
Recommend process improvements for data collection, program monitoring, and cross-campus consistency.
Serve as point of contact for HIT-related questions, escalations, and communication between campuses and central office.
 

Deliverables

Monthly observation reports for each campus
Monthly consolidated attendance & dosage report (ready for submission)
Monthly HIT Lead meeting summaries with identified next steps
Final 20-week summary report capturing overall findings, program strengths, risks, and recommendations for sustaining or scaling HIT programs

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating multi-site education or tutoring programs
Strong data management and reporting skills (attendance, dosage, compliance tracking)
Knowledge of OSSE and DC charter school reporting/compliance requirements (preferred)
Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
Ability to travel to Friendship campuses for monthly in-person observations
