Friendship Public Charter School operates a network of college-preparatory public charter schools, serving students from preschool through 12th grade. The Dedicated Health Aide (DHA) provides direct health care and individualized support to students with special health needs, including those with chronic medical conditions. The DHA ensures that students can safely participate in the school curriculum and daily activities while maintaining their health and safety. This position requires close collaboration with school nurses, parents/guardians, teachers, and administrators to ensure compliance with the student’s 504 Plan or Individualized Education Program (IEP).
