Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support for teaching of face to face, online, and hybrid classes;
  • Provide teaching models during live and recorded workshops and presentations;
  • Co-plan lessons and units with teachers;
  • Co-teach lessons;
  • Provide real-time coaching;
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of support and adjust work according to the outcomes;
  • Facilitate data talks;
  • Provide differentiated professional development for teachers, departments, grade levels and school;
  • Support teachers in setting goals and developing action plans for success;
  • Participate on the school leadership team;
  • Collaborate with the community office to support and provide learning related to system initiatives;
  • Develop teacher comprehension of curriculum materials;
  • Support teachers with tracking student learning and record keeping;
  • Provide best practices and targeted professional development focused on supporting students with disabilities;
  • Provide lesson plan support with targeted and specific feedback;
  • Provide targeted and specific observation feedback;
  • Assist teachers in identifying and acquiring resources;
  • Develop assessments for the department;
  • Support administrators with diagnosing school-wide problems and develop action plans for success;
  • Support content departments with diagnosing problems and develop action plans for success;
  • Designs and provides training to instructional leaders to build their knowledge and skills to lead their teams/department;
  • Knowledgeable regarding relevant effective instructional practices;
  • Review recent literature and research studies and reports; and
  • Develop curriculum for school, departments and grade levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the content area. Master’s Degree preferred or currently enrolled in master’s program
  • Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience with a consistent record of extraordinary student outcomes 
  • A demonstrated track record of leadership and facilitation of adult learning
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Goal and results-orientation           
  • Superior problem-solving and critical thinking skills         
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
