Responsibilities

  1. Assisting Teachers: Collaborate with experienced teachers to support classroom activities, lesson planning, and instructional strategies.

  2. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational trends and methodologies.

  3. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and improvement of curriculum materials, lesson plans, and educational resources.

  4. Classroom Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, addressing individual learning needs and challenges.

  5. Observation and Reflection: Observe classroom instruction, participate in debrief sessions, and reflect on teaching practices to continuously improve teaching effectiveness.

  6. Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the broader community to create a supportive learning environment.

  7. Research and Innovation: Stay informed about educational research and innovations, implementing evidence-based practices in the classroom.

  8. Data Analysis: Analyze student performance data to identify areas of improvement and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.

  9. Professional Collaboration: Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and stakeholders to contribute to a positive school culture and learning community.

Qualifications

  • Completing Bachelors Degree before 2024/25 school year
  • Experience supporting classrooms with Friendship Public Charter School
  • Referred from a School Leader or Administrator
